The City of Strawn is seeking a public works employee. This employee will be required to repair water leaks, perform road maintenance, operate heavy equipment, operate water plant and sewer plant. The W.K. Gordon Center Museum is offering free admission for local residents on weekends in March, 2013. Mingus days are March 9-10, Gordon Days are March 16-17 and Strawn Days are March 23-24. Lions Club Seeking Support for Strawn Livestock Association
Strawn Lions Club now seeking donations to support Strawn Youth Livestock Association.
Donations can be made at First National Bank in Strawn. For any questions call Corey Crenshaw at (254) 672-5211 or ask any Lions Club member. These funds will be used to help our youth with their agriculture animal projects at the Palo Pinto County Livestock Show.
