Texas Parks and Wildlife to hold public meeting
The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) will hold a public meeting regarding the proposed facilities and recreational use concept for Palo Pinto Mountains State Park in Palo Pinto & Stephens Counties, Texas. The meeting will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014, at the Opel Guest Chapel, 321 Houston Avenue, Strawn, Texas, 76475. The meeting will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The purpose of the Public Meeting is to present the proposed facilities and recreational use to the public and receive comments. The proposed plan will illustrate and direct the future development of day use, overnight, and administrative support facilities for the park.
Maps showing the proposed facilities and recreational use will be available for viewing at the Public Meeting.
All interested citizens are invited to attend this public meeting. Written comments from the public regarding this project are requested and may be presented for a period of 10 calendar days following the meeting.
